Chris Kraszewski

Chris has spent twelve years in software development, working through every shape a software role can take: developer, product engineer, product manager, team lead, Interim CTO, and consultant. The breadth means he has been on enough sides of a delivery conversation to recognise where one is about to break.

For the last five years, Chris has led development teams at WAYF and at the partner organisations WAYF works alongside. At WAYF, Chris leads engineering, strategy, and operations. He focuses on how the team is built and how fixed-scope engagements get structured so they land on the dates they promise.

The last two years of that work have been about AI tooling, taken as a practical question rather than a marketing one. Chris has spent the time on what changes when an engineering team can compress the repetitive parts of a build by a meaningful margin, what does not change, and what both of those imply for estimating a fixed-scope migration in 2026.
